“Two truths and a lie” is a writing prompt on Hinge. I find it to be a fairly good conversation starter. I don’t know anything about the other person, so I do my best to eliminate the utterly ridiculous and take a guess at the lie.  That is, when the woman knows how to fucking count. This woman would have gotten points for two decent truths if she could have limited her choices to three entries… LIKE THE WRITING PROMPT WOULD SUGGEST!!!  It’s not “Two truths and two lies” or “Three truths and a lie”. When I come across a profile like this, I just swipe left and move on. If this woman can’t follow the most simple of directions in a dating profile, I can’t imagine having a worthwhile conversation with her.
