I ended up meeting with FirstDate#11 a handful of times, but it never got serious. On one of the dates, we went to Duckett’s Grove in Carlow. The interior of the house was destroyed by a major fire in the 1930s and is now inaccessible. If wandering around Carlow, I’d say it’s a must-see.
We added each other on Facebook and kept in touch for a while. Then COVID started, and she started posting some anti-vax nonsense. I unfriended her, and that was that.
