We hung out a couple of times, and I gave her my ha’penny tour of Kilkenny. She was definitely up for something, just not with an American guy. I had a case of not being Irish enough to fit in with any romantic ideas of a one (or more) night stand. It turns out, she was fine having that fling with an Irish fella I know. I guess I need to work on my Irish brogue a little bit. She subsequently tried to add me on Facebook and Instagram. I respectfully declined, as I felt I didn’t need more friends back in the states, I needed more friends in Ireland.
