“Lies, damned lies, and statistics” – Here are some of those…

From April 2018 to June 2019, I went on 25 First Dates.  Certainly not a record.  And I was trying to meet people in my new country.  Looking back, that’s more than I expected.

WHERE DID WE MEET?
Kilkenny – 15

Malahide – 2
Waterford – 2
Clonmel – 1
Carlow – 2
Athlone – 1
Roscrea – 1
While most of the dates were local, I traveled for 40% of those First Dates.

WHERE WERE THEY FROM?
Ireland – 15
Kenya – 1
South Africa – 1
America – 3
Latvia – 1
Poland – 1
Italy – 1
Romania – 1
Nepal – 1
While most of the dates were Irish, somewhat surprisingly to me, 40% of them were from other countries.

KISS AND TELL
I kissed 8 or 32% of those 25 First Dates.

I would have liked for my dating journey to have been over by this time, but we know there were at least 25 more dates. Either that, or the title of this blog is a lie – a damned lie.
