It had been a while since I had a first date.  I wasn’t matching with many quality women on Tinder in the previous six months. In the first three months of 2019, I had only had three first dates.  And that was after having a slow end to 2018. I was hoping that the better weather and longer days would improve my outlook and my chances for romance.

First Date #21 was with an American Woman who was on holiday. We matched on Tinder. We agreed to meet at the Parade in Kilkenny pretty quickly after matching. She had come to Ireland with a friend, but there was a ton of drama there, so she was touring the island solo for a week or two before heading back to Arizona. I immediately thought this was a case of “what happens in Kilkenny, stays in Kilkenny”, and since I didn’t have anything else going on, I wanted to see where this would go…
