On our First Date, she confided in me that she was a Breast Cancer survivor. This was a bit of a trigger for me as my wife had passed away from Breast Cancer in 2017. Part of me wanted to love her as deeply as I loved my wife, and part of me was afraid that this relationship would suddenly end before I was ready for it to end. Ultimately, it probably didn’t matter as over the following days, through texting back and forth, there really wasn’t a strong connection between us. I do hope FirstDate#25 is still fighting the good fight though.
