First Date #27 was with an Irish woman living in Kilkenny. We matched on Tinder. We agreed to meet at Starbucks on the 4th of July. This obviously didn’t mean anything to the Irish woman, and to be honest, I barely took notice of the holiday myself.  When it’s hard to have a barbeque, get a hotdog or watch a baseball game, Independence Day doesn’t really mean as much outside of the US of A. So, I did what Corporate America would have wanted – our date was at Starbucks.
