How far would you travel for a first date? From Kilkenny, I’ve traveled as far away as Dublin (Malahide) to the North, Cork to the West, Waterford (Dungarvan) to the South and Wexford to the East.  I would much prefer to date closer to home, but I’ve had many more matches outside my county than in Kilkenny.  For the first four years here, I haven’t had a car, but that will be changing soon.  So, I’ve used buses, trains and the occasional hired (rental) car to get to most of those dates which means a significant time investment for me.  It has mostly been worth it as I’ve gotten to see a lot of cool places even if the dates didn’t go well.
So, how far would you go for a first date?
