I thought that the First Date went well enough, but I struggled to get another date set with her. That should have been a clue, but I stayed optimistic. Our mutual friends had a game night at their place, and we were both invited along with some others. As I’m a hard core board gamer, I brought some games that I thought everybody would enjoy. Unfortunately, the ladies were more into chatting than playing games. This was a bummer to me for two reasons, 1) I take gaming very seriously, and 2) My only interaction with FirstDate29 was not very positive.

A while later, it was my birthday weekend, and I was out celebrating at Kyteler’s Inn. FirstDate29 happened along with some of her girl friends (friends of mine as well). We listened to music until they kicked us out, and then we stumbled up John’s Street to Kilford Arms. Somebody talked our way in as it was already afterhours.  There was more drinking, music and some were dancing. FirstDate29 asked if I wanted to dance, so we did. I’m not a great dancer, but I’ve learned to say yes when asked by a woman I might want to date. It was only the one dance, but it was nice anyhow.

That was as close as I came to finding out if kissing a smoker would be a deal-breaker. I still don’t know if it is or not. 😘
